My paintings are colorful and with clear contrasts in a painting style of expressionism.
And the paintings are both abstract and figurative.
The abstract in my paintings is my interpretation of the sensations in daily life. I let the colors conquer the space and express my feelings.
The figurative in my paintings shows itself slowly from the bottom of the canvas. Faces or masks appear from hiding.
Together the abstract and the figurative in my paintings create a forcefield, where they almost fight a battle between the individual and the sensations at some point.
